As we searched for the perfect vendors to help with our southwest Florida destination wedding, I made a list of every Fort Myers, Sanibel, and Captiva wedding vendor we spoke with. I know it can be tough to find the right person to help with such a special day, so don’t hesitate to read through our various checklists and interview suggestions before you schedule meetings or calls with your potential vendors.
NOTE: Kelly and I were constantly on the lookout for a “Bridal Expo” in the Fort Myers area, and were lucky to find one being held at Germain Arena. This was an excellent way to meet many of the vendors we later called for additional discussion. We would also recommend meeting your vendors in person, if possible, as it allows you to get a better feel for their personality and style.
Who We Chose:
We had an absolute blast at our wedding, and were thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and professionalism of ALL the folks we hired for our destination wedding. We highly recommend all of them, and encourage you to contact them if you’re planning a destination wedding! While all of them will work weddings/events on Sanibel and Captiva Island, many of them are available for destination weddings or events in Fort Myers and Naples.
